Mijn motto en waarden
“De wereld is één groot theater!” luidt mijn levensmotto. Er is op onze aarde ontzettend veel te zien, te maken en te beleven. Ik stel mijzelf tot doel om gedurende de tijd dat ik in dat theater mag verblijven, hier zo veel mogelijk van te genieten. Vivo.nu is mijn vehikel om dat waar te maken.

Voor mijzelf, en daarmee dus ook voor Vivo.nu, heb ik een aantal belangrijke waarden geformuleerd:
| Authenticiteit | Dit betekent voor mij eerlijkheid, oprechtheid, emotie, humor en plezier. Status, macht en geld zijn voor mij hieraan ondergeschikt. |
| Ontwikkeling | Ik wil graag nieuwe mensen, nieuwe concepten en nieuwe visies ontdekken. Ik vind het heerlijk om me te verbazen en te verwonderen. Daarnaast is het blijven ontwikkelen van mijn eigen kwaliteiten een van mijn drijfveren. |
| Contact | Met andere mensen samen zijn en samen dingen bereiken is erg belangrijk voor mijn geluk. Ik leef er van op om energie te steken in een groep die daardoor zichzelf weet te overtreffen. |
| Afwisseling | Mijn spanningsboog is relatief kort en daardoor ben ik altijd op zoek naar iets nieuws, iets fris en steeds een schone lei. |
| Creatie | Ik word gelukkig van creatieve mensen en van het creatieve proces. Van niets naar iets, buiten de kaders denken, maar ook het produceren van muziek, beeld en design. Het liefst val ik aan het eind van iedere dag in slaap met de wetenschap dat de wereld een stukje anders is dan hoe ik haar die ochtend aantrof. |
| Natuur | Mijn liefde voor muziek, publiek en vermaak wordt in balans gehouden door het verlangen en genot van bos, bergen, zee, strand, wind, water en zon. |
| Rust & Harmonie | Het niveau van enorme energie en enthousiasme waar ik me graag op begeef, kan alleen maar bestaan als ik ook af en toe pas op de plaats maak, ruimte neem voor bezinning en voldoende aandacht schenk aan mijn gezondheid. |

As a management consultant I review the business processes for the underground waste collectors in The Hague. As projectmanager I am responsible for the implementation of RFID registration which can help to bring the 'streetwise knowledge' of the operators to the decision maker's desk.
Media Production
"The Friday Move" is a weekly live radio show of the Dutch radio station Business News Radio (BNR). Together with the production team, my challenge is to improve the live experience for the audience and improve the brand value for BNR at these events.
Dairy
Verbakel & Seggelink is a trading house for European cheese and a producer of high quality freshpacked tapas. As a projectmanager I was involved in the management turnaround with the new investors for the company.
Nonprofit Organization Management
As facilitator of the Be The Change Workshops I helped 12- and 13-year olds to discover their dreams and let them expecience that realization is much closer than they (and the adults in their environment) think. As long as you Dare to Dream (1), Dare to Ask (2) and Make Some Noize (3)!
Logistics and Supply Chain
As projectmanager responsible for interactive design workshops with suppliers, translating the design in to a Request for Quotation (RFQ), compare offers and summarize in a investment presentation to the board.
Higher Education
As a teacher of a 2-week course on Event Management, I created an experience for my students that will make them remember all the key elements of designing a proper event experience. As one of them said at the end of the course: "it's not hard to manage an event, the challenge is to manage an event outstandingly well"

Business Supplies and Equipment
As the Operations Manager for Energyst's International Project's Division I analyzed the internal organisation and proposed possible improvements for the organisational structure and business processes. This helped Energyst to bridge the time to fill in the vacancy for this function.
Logistics and Supply Chain
Consultant / procesmanager for the strucuturing of Management Information. Working together with consultants from Isense and Macaw to implement a robust Business Intelligence environment. Procesmanager for the construction of a dynamic planning tool to manage current and future proces capacity. In order to quantify the proces capacity a simulation model is developed together with Systems Navigator. Projectmanager of "Sandd on the move": move of 100 workplaces to a new built office. Working together with Gerry Kroeze from "Kroeze Bouwmanagement en Advies" and Rob Veelenturf from "Christe & Veelenturf" at the building site. Projectmanager of "Sandd Open Air Festival Tour". Event-driven marketing to stimulate involvement of all employees, mailmen, clients and contractors with Sandd. Working together with Grace Robinson Event Consultancy and Sinq productions.
Government Relations
Researching the possibilities to enhance the cooperation between Amsterdam's corporate world and development projects for youth.
Hospitality
Conducted research on the possibilities for a human resource classification in the Dutch hospitality business. Head of a researchgroup of 8 junior researchers.
Management Consulting
Building the 'ERP benefit realization simluation'. Conducted a scientific research on why ERP benefit realization is troublesome. The findings of this research resulted in a conceptual model based on the proposition: In order for an ERP system to be successful, all of the elements 'technology', 'organization', 'business processes', 'user capability' and 'organizational commitment to use' have to be adressed and aligned.
Maritime
The Integrated Coastal Development Project was an interdisciplinary research project into the desirability and possibilities of port development in one of Africa’s poorest and most remote areas. Consisting of two maritime engineers, one construction engineer and an 'technology & policy engineer' (me!), this team delivered an extensive report to the local government of the town Angoche and the Nampula region.
Logistics and Supply Chain
I was responsible for the distribution of Boomerang Freecards and was the 'eyes and ears' of the organization. Main activities: enrolling and keeping bars in the distribution network, bringing in and managing employees (7), administration, maintenance on hardware.

Being a supervisor at 'Sterkamp': a holiday for kids (age 8-12), who have a low self esteem. At Sterkamp they experience that they are good the way they are and learn practical tips & tricks to deal with unpleasant situations.
